My research interests include: autonomous robots, autonomous navigation, SLAM, semantic mapping, computer and robot vision systems, cognitive vision,intelligent mechatronics systems, safety issues in mechatronics systems, sensor fusion, digital VLSI and FPGA systems design, digital signal and image processing, computer architectures and specialized processors for robotics, vision and pattern recognition.
