Looking ahead towards the ongoing 4th industrial revolution the laboratory members utilize state of the art tools to expand the scientific and technological front in their research areas of expertise, which include robotics, artificial vision, intelligent systems and pattern recognition, and seeks ways to integrate them seamlessly with other Industry 4.0 technologies that include internet of things, cybersecurity, cloud computing, big data analytics, simulation, additive manufacturing and augmented reality.
